Off-Season Training Imperative to In-Season Success
What an athlete puts in off-season is demonstrated in the performance of that athlete in-season. Don't let time pass you by. Rest is incredibly important in the off season, however strengthening, conditioning, and skill repetition will keep you ready when it's time to hit the field and get back into the swing of things.
Don't lose the progress from last season. Book now to prepare early for your upcoming tryouts, pre-season, and Spring/Summer season.
Your success in-season will reflect your dedication and time committment off-season, when no one is watching.

The Dugout Closes Its Doors
The Dugout Baseball Academy has closed its doors after 14 years in the greater Houston area.
We are so appreciative of every person who walked through our door and supported our journey. Without you, there would have been no Dugout, or the amazing memories you helped us create. We will always cherish the incredible friendships we've made through these last 14 years. Thank you all so very much!

A former professional player from the Dominican Republic, with over 17 years playing in professional baseball, including the MLB, Independent Baseball League, and the Dominican Winter Baseball League, as an infielder and pitcher, Coach Raffi transitioned his baseball expertise as a trainer and coach for athletes in the greater Houston area in 2007.
With over 14 years as the owner & primary coach/trainer of the Dugout Baseball Academy, training individual athletes and teams, Coach Raffi has had the opportunity to prepare his athletes to play at their highest levels of competition, including the Little League World Series, High School Championships, Travel Baseball Championships, Collegiate Baseball, and even the MLB.
To date, Coach Raffi has multiple athletes currently in high school and college baseball, helping them prepare to go as far as their aspirations take them.
From the youngest athletes, to those playing at the professional level, Coach Raffi's experience, expertise, and love for this game makes him one of the most respected, and sought-out coaches in the Houston area.
Coach Raffi closed the doors to the Dugout in September 2022, but continues to train/coach athletes of all ages and skill levels across the Greater Houston area, and with the Houston Wildcatters organization.
